Who this is for

You run an office, clinic, firm or plant. You buy the IT. You are not looking for a tech lecture. You want someone who answers the phone, speaks plain English, and has a plan when something breaks.

  • You care about downtime in dollars and patient or client hours, not acronyms.
  • You want one fixed monthly budget and a person you can call by name.
  • You need help that shows up on site in Vancouver, Edmonton or Calgary when remote is not enough.
  • You are tired of “we’ll get back to you” tickets that sit for days.

Who this isn’t for

  • You want the cheapest break/fix quote and nothing else (no monitoring, no backup plan, no one watching overnight).
  • You only want a chatbot or a ticket portal with no person on the line.
  • You need a giant global help desk for thousands of seats in every country. We are built for real offices with local people.
  • You want us to invent certifications or partner badges we do not hold. We will not.

Short stories from real work

Quick pictures of what “managed IT” looks like when a manager has to explain it to the owner.

KDM Industries

A manufacturing client we look after. We provided their entire network infrastructure, their compute setup, and their accounting software.

Ecco Recycling: Calgary and Aldersyde

Multi-site recycling and plant work. We helped with smart connected equipment (IIoT: machines that talk on a private network), fibre inside the buildings, and links between yards.

  • Four-site build-out. Work that included Balzac, Aldersyde and Lethbridge expansions.
  • Fibre and point-to-point. Fast links so the whole team stays connected across sites.
  • Plant software. We worked alongside Paradigm (USA) on weigh station software.

A Vancouver orthodontic renovation

Practice name held back on purpose. During a reno they moved Ortho2 Edge to the cloud and kept a small on-site microserver for security and local resilience. Patients keep booking. Files stay protected.

  • Cloud where it helps. Ortho2 Edge in the cloud so the team can work without babysitting a big old server.
  • Local where it matters. A microserver on site for security controls and a backup path if the internet hiccups.
  • Reno timing. Cabling and network planned while walls were open, so the clinic did not rip things out later.

Grain of Rice: Edmonton

A one-off restaurant tech consult, from bare walls to opening day: digital menu, online ordering, kitchen printer, VoIP phones (internet phones) and the other connected devices a busy kitchen runs on. Photos held for a sharper set.

Passion Dental Group: two clinic expansions

Passion Dental Group owns several individual dental clinics. We’ve helped expand two of them: one from 8 to 15 operatories, and one from 5 to 11. The drawing here is an example from a clinic expansion we completed, with identifying details removed. We planned at the blueprint level: power, equipment and millwork drawings with the contractor and designer, so the network, server rack and every connected device get a place before the walls go up.

We also do structured cabling (the neat wiring behind your walls and in your rack). Jobs big or small: one room, or a full clinic build.

Tech words, in plain English

We keep this section second on purpose. Managers rarely need the brand names first. Your IT person might.

  • Hyper-V. Microsoft’s way to run more than one server on one physical box. If the hardware fails, we can restore that whole server image onto other hardware. That is part of why failed-server restores from local storage have taken less than 2 hours.
  • Immutable backup. A copy that is locked for 30 days so ransomware (or a bad delete) cannot change or erase it. We keep one copy offsite in Canada too.
  • Zero trust. A network rule of thumb: every person and device has to prove who it is before it gets in. No free pass because “they are inside the building.”
  • Veeam. The backup software we often use to take and restore those server images.

Clear next step

If this sounds like the kind of IT partner you want, book a free IT review. Tony will ask what is broken, what keeps you up at night, and what a good month looks like for your team. You get a clear price before you commit.
